Blue and Black North Holland Dress
Styled from previously made garments! I am wearing a basic chemise / shift and a white linen partlet with a ruff attached. A linen kirtle provides support, and over that is a sleeveless wool gown with front lacing. Finally, there are some accessories specific to the northern Dutch region, late 16th century: a sleeveless black jacket, black partlet with metal fasteners, detachable sleeves with more metal decoration, and a black apron, completed with a linen hat.
