Bloody Heart
Happy Valentine’s Day! To celebrate, I teamed up with Mona Weiss to do this really fun bloody heart photo shoot featuring Roman-esque gowns. We chose to go with a darker interpretation of the holiday this year.

Halloween Faerie
I just added my new Halloween faerie costume! I wanted to do something cute and on-theme for Halloween this year. Since I wear costumes all year, I thought something particularly festive would be a nice change. This was inspired by Amy Brown’s fantasy art. She has been one of my favorite artists since I discovered her some 14-ish years ago.

Woodland Elf
I just added my new woodland elf costume! There are a few photos here with my bow, which I use for medieval style combat in the SCA — since elves are such natural archers, I had to include it. (:

Update — Light Blue Cotehardies and Wool Cloaks
I recently made some new historical garb for my boyfriend and myself. My outfit was inspired by Red Riding Hood and made to be historically accurate, and his was also made to match. The outfits are early 15th century European.
And while we’re at it, I have some updated photos of my Viking garb.

New Costume Blog
I recently created a blog for my costuming adventures! I am mostly using this for my historical costumes, though I am certain you will soon find fantasy costuming there as well. I’m posting some Dress Diary worthy content, along with blog posts from events, and I will continue to update it whenever I have new content.
